The demand for offshore fishing boats that combine blue water effectiveness with luxury amenities is growing exponentially. The Blackfin brand has been ahead of the curve in this arena since their rebirth under the Monterey Boats flag in 2017.
For anyone looking to combine equal parts fishing, family cruising, and excursion boating while doing it in luxury style, the new Blackfin 302CC might be the perfect fit. Starting with a Michael Peters designed double stepped hull that offers the smooth ride of a 23-degree deadrise bottom, Blackfin pushed the beam out to 10’ on this 30-footer to open up the floorplan for the interior workspace and seating. Dividing the available interior into three distinct parts is a practical solution for this design.
The forward deck is framed by a wraparound seat facing aft with a high backrest. A forward facing, wide seat with folding armrests extends from the console. An adjustable table can be raised to serving height for meals or drinks, lowered to seat height to create a sun lounge/casting deck, or removed entirely.
The console is framed on three sides in tempered glass and above by a beautifully molded fiberglass hard top. A Pantographic door opens to the console interior revealing an electric porcelain head. The helm face is smartly trimmed in black acrylic with room for dual MFD screens. The helm station features twin adjustable captain’s chairs and a rear facing mezzanine seat in the cockpit under which a slide out performance cooler sits. An additional stow able double seat is recessed into the transom facing forward.

For the angler, 18 rod holders are standard in the cockpit. A bait prep station with fresh water and a cutting board along with multiple tackle drawers and slide out trays are also included. An insulated LED illuminated 30-gallon live well with a clear face in the transom and a pair of 216-quart fish boxes with macerators below deck are also standard.
A combination of thoughtful engineering, top tier construction standards, and the use of high quality hardware and external components push the Blackfin 302CC to the front of the pack in the luxury/sport category of boats in 2022.

Among the many Standard (included) luxury features, a bow thruster comes installed from the factory. Forward and aft lounge seating at anchor is made much more comfortable by adding a removable sun canopy over each for cooling shade. The anchor windlass system with stainless anchor and through hull roller hardware is also Standard (included) equipment. This forward lounge setting can be configured in several different seating arrangements. A removable dining table quickly turns the forward space into a venue for food and drinks. Vast amounts of dry storage space is located in the bow above and below deck. This three-sided enclosure features tempered glass to protect the helmsman from the elements. Within the console interior you’ll find access to electrical systems and an electric head along with more dry storage. Visible glare is kept to a minimum by trimming the entire helm face in dark colors and including tinted glass windshields. Plush upholstery and adjustable seating for both the helmsman and companion seating ensures a comfortable helm experience. Convenient tackle tray storage is located within the helm station interior compartment. This spacious cockpit offers plenty of room to work and aft facing seating to monitor your spread. Small details that go a step beyond the ordinary such as trimming under gunwale rod racks in deck mat and under gunwale lighting demonstrates Blackfin’s attention to detail. This roomy fishing cockpit easily transforms into a second lounging space for entertaining a large party.
