When it comes to making the entire family happy on a boat, a vessel better be a split purpose machine capable of doing multiple jobs on the same day. Sailfish Boats have been addressing these needs for years and their 276 DC might be the ultimate family platform.
I liken it to loading up the minivan for a cross country camping trip. Whatever the plan is if you think you might need anything, you better pack it just in case. This requires the most family friendly, versatile design on the water and a Dual Console does this work better than any other style of boat available.
For all-in-one convenience you’ll need lots of seating and storage and the 276 DC excels on both counts. Full wraparound seating is available forward with a convertible center panel that doubles as a dining table and filler for a sun pad or casting deck. Insulated storage is beneath the seats to port and bow center. A larger storage area to starboard extends into the console under the helm.
Seating under the shade top includes an electric adjustable captain’s chair at the helm and a convertible seat/lounge to port which faces forward and aft while also reclining into two additional positions. The cockpit features dual aft facing seats and convertible seating on three sides that folds away to create a roomy fishing cockpit.

As a sport boat the 276 DC fishes well out of the stern and offers a pair of cockpit fish boxes below deck, a 30-gallon live well in the transom and plenty of rod holders all around the deck. Water access is available via the transom door and folding ladder for diving or re-entry for tow sports.
The list of included features is impressive and without any of the optional package upgrades the 276 DC is completely outfitted for anything. Performance wise, the Variable Degree Stepped hull on this model offers one of the driest rides in her class. For pure family versatility, there’s no better design than a dual console and Sailfish has been making boating families happy in them for a very long time.
