Okay, you've got a new buddy who wants to go fishing. And the truth is, you want him to go fishing, too. He's eager to learn, probably can be trained to use a pushpole, gaff a tuna, heat-shrink electrical connectors, make sandwiches. The trouble is, no one comes with the right gear. Someone needs to add a chapter to the Official Book of Manhood outlining the basics (actually someone needs to write the entire book). But until we have a more formal source, here's a Holiday Gift Guide you can use to outfit your prospective crewmate.
