Milk crates traditionally hold all the kayaking gear that anglers want to be able to access quickly when on the water.
If it can handle salt water, it goes in the milk crate; if it needs to stay free of water, it goes in a waterproof bag inside the hatch.
Now, PrecisionPak has worked with kayak angler and guide Cory Routh to introduce a self-draining cover for your milk crate that sits in the tankwell of your kayak. The CratePak covers a standard milk crate and velcros into place.
Included in the pack is an integrated rod and reel holder that handles three setups, multiple durable mesh and fabric pockets with velcro closures, stern light holder, large mesh fabric navigational map pocket, and 4 d-rings for attaching tools or for securing the CratePak to your kayak's rigging. The CratePak unit includes 4 velcro-tipped retention straps to attach your milk crate with the CratePak. Available colors include black, orange and camouflage. Dimensions are 12.75 inches x 12.375 inches x 15.25 inches. Material Construction is 600D poly.
