Cole Taschman (@coletashy) with a giant Indian River redfish caught this week in Mosquito Lagoon. The estimated 45-pound fish was sightfished using a gulp shrimp, on a 2500-sized spinning outfit.
With reports of 111 pound wahoo being caught in the northeast, to huge numbers of cobia in Stuart, to Capt. Nick Stanczyk slappin' a 380 pound sword on the deck in the keys, offshore fishing seems to be on the upswing. Especially with the full moon right around the corner. Inshore is promising in most areas with tarpon starting to show up and trout numbers on the rise. What's biting in your area?
