Not like a pliers, but beyond a nail clipper, Boomerang Tool Company's The Snip is a line cutting device. The Snip features precision stainless steel teeth that cut through braid, mono and fluorocarbon with just a squeeze of the tool. This is not a replacement for pliers, but works well in scenarios such as kayaking when a cutter is needed to re-tie often. Features include a retractable leash that can be attached to your person and an LED light for night fishing. Lock the blades in a closed position by pressing the handles and pulling backward. The Snip is about the size of your thumb and weighs 1.25 ounces. Price is $14.95, or $11.95 without the LED light.
