Florida Sportsman member Pottymouth with a 39 pound wahoo, caught while kayaking off Sunrise in 200 feet of water.
For those of you that don't venture into the “No Motor Zone” section of the Florida Sportsman Forums, you are missing out on some spectacular fishing reports from all over the state.
Fishing on a kayak offshore has an edge all of its own, but when mixed with foul weather and big fish, things can get interesting very quickly. Right before it was time to call it a day from building seas and wind, Florida Sportsman member Pottymouth makes one last drop in 200 feet that yields this kayak angler the fish of a lifetime, a 39 pound wahoo. Impressive by any standards, this is a catch to be envied from a kayak.
